Sound and vibe muse, Renee King, is a vocal sensualist, recording artist, voiceover actress, and spiritualist, rewriting the art of mediumship for herself and beloved communities.
Best known as the lead of musical ensemble, Rhythm Park, and her appearances at the legendary Jazz Kitchen, this Indianapolis darling showers her listeners in affirming warmth, words, and insights, earning her the tags, “The Voice” and “Renee K All Day”. For Renee, consistency is one of her many calling cards, joining cool mother wit and a vintage sense of charm and humor made just for the stage.
And rightfully so. Renee began performing at an early age in plays, musicals, and choirs, and was even an award-winning violinist. Her talents matured and later she performed with several cover bands in the city. Over time, however, her desire for self-authorship infected her passions. She loves performing covers and being a medium for the classics, however, she is now pursuing being a medium for herself and exploring writing and composing original material.
In 2010, she formed Rhythm Park, a musical ensemble that combines a mix of soul, r&b and jazz. In 2012, Renee was chosen from thousands of entries to participate in Grammy award-winning songwriter Traci Hale’s “The Formula of a Hit” songwriter’s experience. By September 2014, Renee King released her debut single, “Tension”, a suspenseful exposé into what could be new love. The melodic urgency and lyrical incisiveness Renee displayed became her trademark, purposed with nude honesty and depth.
In 2017, “The Voice” put her wide range and character to work, adding voiceover artist to her repertoire. She has since voiced radio and television ads for banks, body shops, churches, schools, utility companies, and more. Her national ads include Royal Caribbean and Command Strips and she’s currently pursuing animation and video game casting.
In 2019, Renee began offering her expertise as a spiritual advisor. Affectionately known as “Renee K Tarot Bae”, she primarily uses tarot cards as a vehicle to empower, uplift, and provide clarity to those on their spiritual journey towards enlightenment and ascension. She has worked closely with hundreds of people across the globe helping them to transform their lives and operate within their purpose and passions.
The journey remains as Renee works to make her name synonymous with other illustrious artists on the music scene while also exploring other facets of her creativity and spirituality. She is continually honing her craft while performing with a diverse group of musicians and is planning to release her debut EP in 2022.
